If the Manly team hinge their hopes of this season being saved by one man - Brett Stewart, (sick of hearing about the guy) they need to wake up to themselves and harden up.

I have a tradition of sending Curly a sms on a Saturday nite - pure and simple it reads "Hey Curly what's doin???" he humours me by replying cause he knows I'm on the Bacchus beers and by the time I message him I'm onto about my 4th schooner - could say I'm on the way.

His reply this time was "watching the Titans! 10 nil to the Storm but the boys are muscling up"

Quickly I downed the remainder of schooner 5 and turned on Fox....and well the rest is history.....The mighty TITANS are contenders - hey Curly imagine a Titans V Dragons Final....I would definetly have to go to SFS with ya if that was the case....u never know

I'm not talking about the U20'S either, it's the hundreds of clubs throughout the country who promote the little blokes from U7'S up. These young troopers don on a jersey and truly ENTERTAIN!!!

They move the ball around, they kick in general play, and they defend with purpose.

Perhaps the NRL fatcats could include in clauses in players contracts where they are to attend a minimum of JRL games throughout the season - some, not all of our current stars need to be reiminded of where they came from, not where their going.

The Bulldogs game plan was crap YES...but I think everyone got sick of hearing Phil Gould say those words. "Gee that was a tough call by the referee"

Sure several decisions during the course of a game are questionable, but the heart of Rugby League is to overcome adversity, this includes the man with the whistle. I saw the Bulldogs submitting to a one out game plan which was brought about by the Titans cutting off any second man play via their defence. The in form dogs played school yard footy and payed the price. SKILL at SKILLED PARK pure and simple.

Gordy has put a bit of mongrel back in their game and JT has given Sandow and Johnny Sutton the green light to play a natural game. Could see one or two rep jumpers come out of the Bunnies this year.....great job.

Ricky Stuart returned fire on Brian Waldren by just simply saying that he was a flip and in idiot. Sometimes simplicity is best.
