After a disapointing season personally and for other fans of the Permian Panthers, Texas 5A High School footy draws to a close as semi-finals loom in both Div 1 and Div 2 categories.

In Division One, perenial powerhouses Euless Trinity take on RR Stony Point in one Semi, while Katy Cinco Ranch take on Austin Westlake. The winners will square off in the State Championship decider.

Division Two sees a return to power of Abiline Eagles who play Klein in what should be an absorbing battle and last years State Champs Katy play New Branfels.

 It is great to see some new teams progress to semi stage, the return of Abiline and the continuing power behind Katy and Trinity.
